Two Digit Number Clip Cards Place Value with Base Ten Blocks for Math Centers

Make practicing place value fun with these place value clip cards. Your math block will become more engaging as students will practice identifying 2 digit numbers with base ten blocks with this math center.
There are 90 clip cards ranging from numbers 10 up to 99. Students will get a lot of practice using tens and ones to figure out each number. Students can easily use a clothes pin or paper clip to clip onto the correct answer.

Students will love practicing place value with these visually appealing clip cards. This math center is more engaging than worksheets and allows students a hands on activity to practice counting base ten blocks.
This center is easy to prep and easy to set up! All you need are the cards and clothes pins or paper clips for marking the correct numbers. You can also easily store this center in task boxes for quick set up and clean up.
BONUS FILE - This product has been made Easel ready with an activity where students will use the pen or highlighter tool to circle or mark the correct answer for each clip card.

This first grade math ring set focuses on learning about money. If includes the coins, pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Students will practice counting money and comparing different amounts of money. There are a variety of activities and difficulty levels for this packet. Set 1: Students will count the number of dimes and pennies and write the number in the correct spots to determine how much money they have. Set 2: Students will count the number of dimes and pennies and write the numbers in the correct spot. This math ring is in a Tens/Ones format. Set 3: Students will compare the amount of coins and determine if the left. side is less than or greater than the amount on the right. (dimes and pennies) Set 4: Students will compare the amount of coins and determine if the left side is more than or less than the amount on the right. (dimes and pennies) Set 5: Students will compare the amount of coins and determine if the left. side is less than or greater than the amount on the right. (all coins) Set 6: Students will compare the amount of coins and determine if the left side is more than or less than the amount on the right. (all coins) Set 7: Students will count the coins and determine how much money they have. (single coin counting) Set 8: Students will count the coins and determine how much money they have. (multi-coin counting) Laminate the cards for students to use dry erase markers or use the optional recording sheets provided. First Grade Math Place Value for Two Digit Numbers

These first grade math rings are for comparing two digit numbers. There are activities for drawing, using number bonds, addition sentences, greater than and less than, and more or less concepts to explore 2 digit numbers. Set 1: Students are given a number and must draw the number, make it into a number sentence (ex: 33 = 30+3) and create a number bond based on the number sentence. Set 2: Students are given a number and they must draw their number and then write the tens and ones for that number. Set 3: Students must record if the first number is greater than or less than the second number by using the greater than or less than symbol. Set 4: Students will look at two base ten block number representations and will determine if the first set is more or less than the second set. Set 5: Students will look at two different representations of a number (one side will be standard form and the other side will be either base 10 blocks or tens and ones representations) and students must compare and determine which is greater than or less than the first number. Set 6: Students will look at different number representations and determine if the first number is greater than or less than the second number. This set is slightly more difficult than set 5. Recording sheets are available to record your answers or you can laminate the math ring cards and record your answers directly on the cards. Place Value Centers and Activities with Two Digit Numbers

Place value is a necessary skills for students to learn, so why not make it fun and engaging! This packet includes several activities and center ideas for students to demonstrate and practice their knowledge of place value! This packet focuses on tens and ones. Activity 1: Place Value Sheets (pp 2-20): Each page focuses on numbers in ascending order (pp 2-10). Starting at 10 and working their way up to 99. Pages include mixed practice as well (pp 11-20). Activity 2: Place Value Cards (pp 2-10, 19): Print these pages on card stock , cut out and laminate. Students can use dry erase markers to fill in the answers on the cards and they can be wiped clean in for repeated use! Activity 3: Place Value Cards with Answer Sheet (pp 21-27): Print the place value cards (pp 22-27) cut out and laminate for durability. Have students draw a card and record the number they have on their answer sheet (p 21). You can also laminate the answer sheet for repeated use. Activity 4: Place Value Least to Greatest (pp 22-27): Print the place value cards (pp 22-27) cut out and laminate for durability. Give students a set amount of cards and have them place the cards in order from least to greatest. Activity 5: Place Value Dice Game (pp 28-36): Print out the dice (pp 29-32) on card stock, cut out and assemble as dice. Print the desired recording page for students to use individually or in groups. There are two types of recording pages. Thanksgiving Turkey Place Value: 2 Digit Tens And Ones
This Thanksgiving Place Value Matching Cards set is a fun and interactive way for students to practice place value skills with a festive holiday theme!
Prepare the Cards:
Print and cut out the Thanksgiving Place Value Matching Cards. You’ll have two sets of cards: Turkey Cards with numbers and Base-Ten Block Cards showing tens and ones.
For durability, consider laminating the cards, especially if using them multiple times or in centers.
Setup the game:
Shuffle and lay out both sets of cards face-up or face-down on a table, depending on the level of challenge you’d like.
How to Play:
Students will look at a Turkey Card with a number (e.g., 37) and find the matching Base-Ten Block Card that represents that number (e.g., 3 tens and 7 ones).
Game Variations:
Independent Practice: For solo play, students can work on matching the cards on their own by using the place value mat and placing tens and ones blocks.
