Do your students need additional support identifying money and counting currency to match a price or a purchase? Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. Your students will practice matching the number value to the written value, practicing writing the written value, as well as cutting and pasting the correct currency to the item.

The students will practice writing the dollar amount as well as cut and paste the correct number of dollars to the item shown. Remedial skills, introduction to currency, as well as functional math time are great ways to incorporate these worksheets. These worksheets are in both color and black and white.

This No Prep Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. Home Living Series focuses on selecting the best cleaning supplies (dish detergent, disinfectant spray, vacuum cleaner, laundry detergent, or glass cleaner) with the given object (sheets, carpet, plates, etc). This 30 question, self-grading activity is great for virtual learning or in-person learning. You will be able to share the presentation with your students for individual practice or as whole group. There are 10 additional worksheets you can print or use digitally where students have to choose and color items that are used to be cleaned with the target cleaner. There are 2 additional sheets that have the items to cut and paste to the correct worksheet.

This No Prep Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level.

This is an excellent resource for Middle or High School students with IEP Math or Money Goals, Transition to Work Students, or Elem students learning money skills. It is a great addition to any math/ supported employment program or math center. These activities can also support Transition Plans!
