Measurements and Math were a strong focus of the lesson. Next, students spent the rest of the first lesson practicing the use of a ruler and a yardstick. I taught the students how to do 2-point perspective with step-by-step slides. Students started on their Final Copy paper and created their own version of my example. This Matrices Operation Mystery Project will have your students excited to review adding, subtracting and multiplying matrices. They will also identify the element, use Cramer's Rule and determine the determinant. There is a printable and digital version of this project included! They will be solving 36 questions involving matrix operations. They will get 6 clue sheets with 6 questions on each sheet. The answer choice leftover is the answer to that part of the mystery. They will fill in a storyline with their clues to see the whole mystery come together!

This project is the perfect print and go activity OR digital that will take 2-3 days to complete! There is a rubric included, student direction card and an answer key. Grading couldn't be more simple.

Digital Version:

- your students will get a google slide link with the project pages embedded in the background. They will solve the questions and type their answers in the already given text boxes and then drag a semi-transparent box over the final answer to each clue.

Do your students need additional support identifying money and counting currency to match a price or a purchase? Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. Your students will practice matching the number value to the written value, practicing writing the written value, as well as cutting and pasting the correct currency to the item.

The students will practice writing the dollar amount as well as cut and paste the correct number of dollars to the item shown. Remedial skills, introduction to currency, as well as functional math time are great ways to incorporate these worksheets. These worksheets are in both color and black and white.

This No Prep Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level.

This is a great addition to any Early Elementary Math Money curriculum as well as functional math curriculum for life skills! Use these worksheets to help progress monitor goals and objectives in a students IEP or Transition Plan!

To print 3x5 index card sized task cards, select "4 pages per sheet". These are not designed to print directly to index card template paper. What has worked best for my students was to print to on heavy duty card stock and laminate.
