Are you looking for an easy way to improve student behaviors? This is a fun, easy, print and go activity.

I use the secret missions with my students. Simply print the packet, cut out, and post the missions in your room (be sure to cover each mission with a "secret mission" card".

Then the magic begins. Each morning during your morning meeting time chose a kiddo to uncover a mission. Discuss the mission, the importance of it, what it looks like. I generally have a secret task force who also watches for the behaviors. Then when your children are "caught" they earn a party point/tally/ball (whatever reinforcer you use) for your class. Currently my kids are working to earn hot chocolate with toppings.

This super sight word game is a great way to get your little super heroes excited about reading! Game cards include pre-primer, primer, first grade, and second grade Dolch sight words, each marked for easy differentiation based on level. Download, print, laminate, and cut the cards and spinner. Students will spin and land on a number (one or two to practice as many words as possible). Some spaces say "draw 2." That means the student will draw and read two cards. On "action" spaces, you get to choose what the student can do. Use these spaces as an extra turn, lose a turn, or a battle! In a battle, each student can choose a card and attempt to read it. Updated to include word form!

Students can use these cards to match two and three-digit numbers with their base ten block representations and their expanded form. Use the cards individually to create even more activities. For example, give students the three digit number card and have them build the number using actual base ten blocks. You can also give the students the clip art cards and have them write the three digit numbers or the numbers in expanded form. The possibilities are endless and easily differentiated for every learner.

If you're looking for a creative way to teach your students about emotions this could be it. Students will be given clues to find out what emotion is being portrayed. When they think they have the correct answer, they will get an opportunity to draw it out and list their answer. Great for 1:1 or small groups.

File Folder Shape & Color Matching Activity:

This is a great file folder game for your students. It’s a great way for your students to not only practice matching shapes together but colors as well!

Print, laminate and attach #2 pages with shapes on them to a file folder. Then cut out and laminate the fire trucks with the border around each separate firetruck.

Once everything is laminated attach a velcro dot on the front of each shape fire truck attached to the file folder and then attach velcro dots to the opposite side of the fire truck cards.
