These 27 Easter BOOM Cards tell the true story of the events leading up to and following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All reading portions are taken directly from the Bible (ESV) and contain full audio for your students or children. Many of the cards also contain interactive elements such as moving objects or answering questions. This is an errorless deck, meaning that students cannot get a wrong answer and can do this independently. This resource is a science driven, easy to use pack to use when investigating all things pumpkin! Pumpkinology is a great way to incorporate kindergarten science standards in a fun, fall themed way.

Cut off the top of a pumpkin and let them scoop out the insides to count seeds, estimate how many counting cubes tall is a pumpkin, how many paperclips will it take to fit around the pumpkin? Will the pumpkin sink or float? What is the life cycle of a pumpkin? Color or use tissue paper to produce a tear art version to create their very own pumpkin.

I use this resource in my classroom on October 31st as part of our fall party! We investigate all things pumpkin and the grand finale is when we carve a face on the pumpkin, add in baking soda, vinegar and green food coloring to make the pumpkin explode (outside of course)! This is a day your students will remember for years to come!

This Cinco de Mayo Art Lesson set has 4 projects plus a game so it may be successfully used with all of your elementary students Kindergarten -5th grade. This product contains 4 Cinco de Mayo art projects with project samples and step-by-step instructions with photos plus so much more. These lessons are loosely based on the artwork of Jasper Johns. Also included is information on Cinco de Mayo, Hispanic Heritage Month, and artist Jasper Johns (1 page each).

I love these mixed media projects because any student can be successful - there is no "right way" to complete the mixed media projects. These lessons encourage student creativity, allow students to make choices in their artwork, and include connections to other disciplines (math, social studies, and literacy).
