WHAT DO I NEED AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

All you need is to print the puzzles, mission, and recording sheets. No other prep is required! You will then pass out the recording sheets, mission, and puzzles (or scatter the puzzles around for players to find). Keep the hint cards and answer key to yourself and guide players as needed. That’s it!

On These clip cards are a great way to test students’ ability to take a group of objects and multiply it by a given number using a physical multiple choice system. It includes 44 cards covering questions from ‘twice as many’ to ‘twelve times as many’. The given possible answers have been carefully chosen to allow teachers to spot any misconceptions students may have about the topic.

The idea of this activity is that students work out the answer to a given question, then clip a clothespin/ peg or a paperclip to what they think is the correct answer.

This activity works equally well when the cards are laminated. Students simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper, hand out to your class at the end of the lesson, so they can put their names on and circle the correct answer, serving as a great exit ticket/plenary to the lesson.

These cards are in colour, but print equally well in grey scale for cost savings.

It's time for your child/students to start learning their multiplication facts. The Multiplication Study Booklets are a great collection of booklets that students can create and use nightly to study their facts.

Students can practice adding and subtracting within 100, multiplication and dividing within 144, and a mix of all four in this player vs player game. Problems randomly generate using positive addition and subtraction problems (no negatives or remainders).

Use fortune tellers / cootie catchers to have students practice rounding whole numbers to the nearest 1000 in a fun and different way. These fortune tellers work great in French, English, Spanish, or any world language!

This product is a digital puzzle that requires students to complete 50 basic multiplication fact fluency problems. The link to the digital puzzle is on a clickable PDF that you would download once purchased. Students will put the answers in the answer box. This activity is no prep and is self checking. If the student puts the correct answer in, the answer box will turn green and a piece of the digital puzzle will appear in the green box to the right. In addition to this, an emoji pops up next to the correct answer. If the student puts in the wrong answer, the answer box will turn red and no puzzle piece will appear.
