Do your students need more hands-on practice with many of the tricky grammar topics covered in Spanish class? This sorting activity will give them the hands-on practice they need to cement their knowledge of verb forms, tenses, gender and number of nouns, and more! In each activity, your students will sort the given list of conjugated Spanish verbs, English sentences, Spanish adjectives, or Spanish nouns into categories like yo, tú, él/ella/usted, nosotros, vosotros, and ellos/ellas/ustedes or imperfecto and pretérito, as well as others. You could easily adapt this activity for other tenses or words, simply by providing your own list. In addition to the hands-on practice, each resource also includes two worksheet versions with the same terms or sentences.

Each resource in this bundle contains:

• one page of nouns, verbs, or adjectives in Spanish or sentences in English with dotted lines for cutting

Play French scattergories when you need quick, no prep activities to play with your class while they practice their French vocabulary, oral, and written skills. Looking for ways to engage your students when teaching the French futur simple tense? Just print and go with this set of French board games, crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles, and worksheet activities to conjugate all irregular and some regular verb stems in the futur simple. Board Games: Some boxes require students to conjugate the verb using the provided subject pronoun, and others require them to name the subject pronoun that matches the verb conjugation. Lots of repetition will really help them to memorize French verbs in the futur simple. There are a few fun tricks along the way, so getting to the end isn’t always so easy.

In groups of two to four, players take turns rolling a die to move their pieces forward. Spaces are numbered to keep track of which way they’re moving. There are some spaces with special instructions:

• Départ - Start
• Avance de 5 cases - Move forward 5 spaces
• Recule de 5 cases - Move backward 5 spaces
• Rejoue - Play again
• Tu perds ton tour - Lose a turn
• Fin - End

For an extra challenge and to extend playing time, you can tell your students that they have to land directly on the last square and answer it correctly to win. 

Worksheets: One page worksheets - Half of each page requires students to fill in subject pronouns, and the other half requires them to conjugate the verb. This is a great way to prep for the board game!

Crosswords: One more excellent way to review conjugating regular and irregular verbs in the futur simple.

Sudoku puzzles: Your students will review verb stems and endings while exercising their brains in a different way with a sudoku puzzle!

These easy and fun no-prep French activities provide a lot of exposure to verbs, conjugations, themed vocabulary, numbers, telling time, and more. These one-page dots & boxes games include directions at the top of each page. The games can be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers.

How to play (written at the top of each page): Complete more boxes than your opponent. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the words on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.
