Level Ups are a fun way to challenge your students to complete various levels of mastery on working with rational & irrational numbers. Aligned to the common core standards, Level Ups provide 5 levels of challenge for your students to complete, starting with pre-requisite fractions and square root skills all the way up to estimating non-perfect squares, solving multi-step equations involving squares and cubes, and writing repeating decimals as fractions.

Students start at level zero and work their way up to level 4, giving them accurate feedback on what they have mastered, and what they still need to work on. This Fractions and Decimals task (with complete Key) gives students practice to become fluent and efficient using their calculator. Students get 30 fractions to 1) enter correctly and 2) change the format. Students also get 20 fractions problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to solve.

The task includes practice with the following skills:
