Although this lesson plan is written specifically for World History, character maps can be used at antime that you are studying a character or historical individual. This lesson plan is easy to modify for language arts, English, reading, social studies, science, and other content areas. It is easy to use and can be included in your lesson plans time and time again. Hello and welcome!

Are you math teacher and have been thrown into teaching a computer science course? Now you have NO IDEA where to start! Have you taught computer science, but want to try something else? Math and computer science are related, but are not the same!

I have your back. I've been teaching math and computer science, including APCSP, APCSA, and Data Structures for almost two decades. I also teach an introduction course. This is part of the course I made up for my intro students. I have a BS in computer science and know what students need to know.

The second semester of lessons are an extension and not taught in most schools. I researched and created them with a focus on students having fun while using higher level coding techniques. They are geared toward using Java to create forms and games. These sections are by far my students' favorites because they get to use images, GUI components, and animation.

These lessons are meant to be done over a few days; the idea is to get students doing cool stuff as fast as possible. With Java, that is NOT an easy task.

This creative Picasso Self Portraits Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this PDF file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to sketch themselves in a Picasso-inspired style-abstract. Students exaggerated their facial features and placed them in different areas on their face. Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Fish Aquarium Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this PDF file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I made 4 unique pre-cut fish aquarium stencils that students could choose from and trace on large 18 x 24-inch paper.
