Students to write additive and multiplicative equations from tables and graphs at a 6th grade level with 9 pages (18 problems. Most of the problems are of the form y=kx or y=x+b with a few challenging questions at the end with 2 steps in the form y=mx+b.

This product contains 9 pages (18 problems)

The problems start easier and get progressively more difficult, including fractional slopes and y intercepts with decimals. Full Answer Key Included.

The google doc is pictures of each problem (consisting of a table, graph, fill in the blank description, and equation) so you can delete or add an entire problem but you can't edit each one individually.

These number line problems range from extremely accessible to very challenging for even my highest students. They gradually take students through different rational number concepts and strategies while working on a number line. This really helped my 6th graders better understand the magnitude of fractions, mixed numbers and decimals and how to place numbers on the positive and negative side of the number line. It promoted great discussions in the student groups.

It includes 4 pages of student worksheets or thin slicing problems with an answer key.

Great End of the Year Test Prep! Use this great resource to keep your students aware of the essentials they must know during their middle school years. The Essential Skills resource page can be used as a teaching tool as skills are being taught, or use it as a review tool toward the end of the year. Each section has blank spots (red sections) for students to fill in and apply the knowledge they have learned. There are two included activities to help students practice using the reference tool. • The scavenger hunt pages should be cut in half (there are two questions per page) and posted around the room. The student start at any point and travel to each question using the reference page to help them answer the questions. Answers are filled in on the answer page. The questions range in difficulty from simply copying formulas, to applying formulas to solve. • The second activity is a seat work assignment where students must apply the information from the reference sheet to solve problems. This resource is great for students in 7th and 8th grade, but can be used very effectively for intervention students that need extra support with remembering previously taught skills. Ever needed a review activity on solving equations that was fun and engaging for your students? Team Target Review is a cooperative and competitive activity designed to get students thinking, talking, and working together.
