Graphing Ratios Practice Worksheet
By The M-Intercept
This worksheet provides students with step by step instructions for how to read a word problem, create a ratio table, find missing values on the table, and then graph the ratio table.
This worksheet was designed to supplement our district's curriculum, which expected students to use ratios and graph ratios, but did not provide ample opportunity to practice the skill thoroughly. I hope this worksheet is helpful for you and your students.

Factors and Multiples | KaBoom Cards
By LittleStreams
These KaBoom cards are a fun way to practice finding the Highest Common Factor (or Greatest Common Factor) and the Lowest Common Multiple (Least Common Multiple) of two or three numbers, with differentiation built in.
Players choose whether they want to choose an easier question (red), but will receive less points for their correct answer, or risk a more challenging question (green) and gain greater rewards. Both a UK version and a US version is included to take into account the specific wording used in each curriculum.
The red cards consist of questions involving simpler HCF and LCM questions that can be worked out by listing the factors and multiples of the given numbers.
The Yellow Cards of questions which require finding prime factors first.
The Green Card consists of more challenging questions involving 3 numbers, or factors of 7 and 13.
Begin by laying all the cards out face down (so you see only the number of points they are worth). Players take turns to select a card, either red, yellow or green. The difficulty of the question will increase. They may also pick up either steal, giving them a chance to steal from any other player, shield, which protects them from the next KaBoom, and KaBoom cards which means you lose all your collected points so far.
Play as a whole class in teams, or print multiple copies as play around the table. If students get the answer incorrect, or they need some help, use your judgement as to whether you will allow them another guess or not. Questions answered incorrectly go in the ‘house’ pile, along with any cards lost in a KaBoom. At the end of the game, add up the ‘house’ pile. The winner is the player or team with the highest points (including any shield cards that have been unused). The house can win.
Included are two copies of the game; one designed for a double sided printer and one designed for single sided printing where you need to turn over the pages yourself to print double sided.
Full instructions are included as are answers.

FRENCH MATHS | JEU/GAME | J'AI QUI A | 4 QUADRANTS | PAIRES | PLANS CARTÉSIENS
By French Made Fun!
I use this 24-card J'ai... Qui a? Game after my students have become familiar with the terms "paire ordonnée" and "quadrants." If your students are not yet familiar with ordered pairs in 4 quadrants and are still focusing on a single quadrant, I've got that, here. Your students will always want to be familiar with the formatting of an ordered pair - using parentheses and a comma to separate the two numbers), and you'll want to practice saying these out loud (i.e. "Cinq à trois" - (5,3) ; "Moins dix à six" - (-10, 6)) before jumping into this game.
If you're unfamiliar, "J'ai... Qui a?" games are whole group activities which reinforce their ability to read and say what's on the cards. This is a great revision activity prior to assessment and I currently use it with my 6th graders; but it could easily be utilized in grade 7 as a warm-up, or as a reach-back activity.
In this 8-page document, you will find:
I print this document single-sided on 8.5" x 11" paper, cut them out, and laminate them to use year after year. There are 4 to a sheet.
If you're looking to use games in your teaching, this game is included in my J'ai... Qui a? Bundle which you can find here.

Math Links- Equation of a Line Given Two Points(like the NYT game "Connections")
By Howlin' Husky Math Games
Have you ever played the New York Times game, "Connections"? This worksheet combines this premise with math to put an exciting spin on learning.
This version concentrates on finding the equation of a line given two points.
Students will solve or simplify the sixteen problems. Then they will inspect the answers and try to find similarities. The sixteen answers can be grouped into four smaller sub groups ranging in difficulty from easy to tricky to find (yellow, green, blue, purple). Each group will have a distinct trait that puts them in this group.
Students can check to make sure a group is correct before trying to find another group. If they guess wrong, they check off a mistake box. Student should try to get all four groups with the least amount of mistakes!
