Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 53 Sports for a total of 14 pages. Check out the thumbnail and the preview of some pages in the pictures. They each feature the English verb in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. In Task 1 students will read an informational text about Jackie Robinson and then find their way through a maze by answering true or false comprehension questions. If they answer the questions correctly they will reveal their first word.

In Task 2 students will complete a crossword puzzle by answering ten questions. Answering these questions correctly will reveal some hidden letters which need to be unscrambled to reveal the second word.

In Task 3 students will sort 27 timeline task cards about key events from sport, putting them in order from the earliest date to the most recent. When they have finished their third word will be revealed.

In Task 4 students will have to find the missing words in a wordsearch puzzle before finding a hidden word from the letters that are left over in the puzzle. This hidden word is their fourth and final word. All of the BOOM Cards™ activities are self-marking.

In this fun kinesthetic math game, students work in pairs to create a paper basketball and count hits and misses to find fractions, decimals, simplified fractions and percentages that represent player statistics.

A Google Slides biography writing unit about the famous Brazilian soccer star, Pele. The unit is ideal for both in-class and distance learning in fifth grade and sixth grade. The unit has been split into four separate lessons. The Google Slides activity is ideal for students learning about World History or for Black History Month.

The first lesson is interactive and involves students reading facts, and then sorting and ordering these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to type four paragraphs. Then, in the third lesson they need to choose the most important facts and include these in an introduction; after this they need to answer several questions before typing up their conclusion. In the final lesson your class will need to check their draft paragraphs before typing up their work on to the template provided.
