Are you looking for a fun way to practice multiplication, subtraction, and addition with decimals? Then look no further! This is an engaging activity for all students. This is a fun math project to practice multiplication with decimals. Students will get to put their math skills into practice in a real life situation. They will create a mock cotton candy stand where they will have to be in charge of buying their product, figuring out how much each customer owes, and how much they will profit. This activity lets each student set up their own cotton candy stand, so all their answers may differ. At the end of the activity students will determine if their cotton candy stand was successful, whether they made a big enough profit to do it again.

This activity has students practice multiplying, dividing, and subtracting numbers with decimals.

Cartoon Last Character Standing

Students will be given a list of Cartoon Characters to see how their characters are eliminated over a 10 day period during the Last Character Standing Games. They will be given a pair of dice that will be used to determine if the character moves on to the next day or if they are eliminated. A wonderful Real-Life Math bundle with lots of practical applications.

Students get to think about concepts such as mean, median, range, mode, quartiles and outliers in a real life and practical way. Are you looking for a fun way to assess angles, lines, using a protractor to draw angles, and angle relationships? Then look no further! This fun math activity provides students with an opportunity to be an Urban Planner. They will use list of instructions to create their own Seasonal Town (Falling Leaves Town, Winter Wonderland Town, Spring Showers Town and Summer Sun Town). Each project has the same set of instructions but the street names are different to reflect the appropriate seasonal town name. This will allow you to pick a season or even create the four seasons in your classroom.

This project helps students demonstrate their knowledge in the following:

• parallel lines
• perpendicular lines
• transversal lines
• acute angles
• obtuse angles
• scalene triangle
• equilateral triangle
• isosceles triangle
• quadrilaterals
• z, c, and f patterns creating from transversal lines
• relationships between intersecting lines

There is also a rubric included for assessment purposes. I have used this project with my students and they have always enjoyed it and its quick to mark. Bonus! Students will likely need a couple of classes to complete this assessment and I would recommend having them complete a rough copy first to plan out their town.

Easy way to practice fractions of a set & comparing fractions with students? Use this easy no prep digital activity! Designed for use with Google Slides.

Each student will need a small pack of either a fruity candy or chocolate candy. There are options for both google slides with the traditional colors of each in the paid download.

Students will drag and drop to show their set. They will then review the vocabulary numerator and denominator before creating fractions for each color of candy.

Alternately, you can also have students just create a set of "candies" using colors of their choice, without giving them any actual candy.

Students will also review the rules for comparing fractions with the same denominator. Students will drag and drop inequality symbols to compare the amounts of different colors of candies in their set.

This resource would be a fun, engaging way for students to practice using area concepts with basic multiplication to create the best layout for the interior of a leprechaun house. The goal is for students to include the four required pieces (bed, couch, table and two chairs), and to then include as many of the optional extras as possible to create the most magical leprechaun home that they can.

A scrappy quilt uses a variety of different fabrics that may or may not use a consistent theme. In this new version of cut and paste, students will make a scrappy quilt using a variety of pattern blocks included in the activity. The students must complete a set of questions or activities to know what numbered pattern to use and where it should be placed on their quilt. Each quilt has its own color scheme (color chart) and those are the colors students will need to create a one-of-a-kind scrappy quilt. Each quilt comes with a header, and some have additional activities students must complete to finish their quilts. Each quilt once assembled with header is 11x14 inches (does not include the size if a quilt has an additional activity).

What is a lapbook?

A lapbook is a book made from a file folder that includes various information about a topic. Students can create a lap book by cutting, coloring (when needed), and gluing them inside a file folder. The finished file folder book is called a lapbook because the book is usually big enough to spread out on your lap to read.

Lapbooks do not come with specific assembly instructions. Students are to use the information to build their books creatively and uniquely! This is a fun way for students to learn and get hands-on with the information!

All of the hard work is done for you. Just print the pieces, give each student one file folder, and let your students get creative!
