Fairy Tale Monologue and Script - Drama and Language Arts

This is a 3 part individual/group assignment where groups (of 4-6) are given a problem based on a well known fairy tale where students have to write and perform their solution to the problem. Students will write out a monologue individually and as a group will write the body of the script. After the groups have resolved their problem, each group member will have a chance to reflect on how their character feels after the resolution of the problem. This activity would be appropriate for middle school students. This package will provide your students with hours of entertainment that include opportunities to write and showcase their creativity. Charlotte's Web Novel Study - Lesson Plans Included

This novel study goes along with E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web. You and your students will go chapter by chapter. Studying the characters, setting, events, point of view, adjectives, text structures (Cause/Effect, Compare/Contrast, and Problem/Solution), and more. It all ends with a watch along with the 2006 live-action movie and a project comparing the movie and the book.
Things that are included in this product are: Completed Lesson Plans for each chapter (also a blank one that is editable), Google Slides to go with each chapter, Doodle notes prompts and organizers for each chapter, End of Chapter activities, Movie Watch Along activity, Assessments, and a Rubric for the project.
At the beginning of each slideshow, there is a review of what the activity will be focused on for that chapter. You might need to teach your students that skill. But this product spiralizes. So you will cover skills, multiple times throughout the read.
Everything that is included is editable for you, so you can make it fit for your classroom! This could also be used as a digital activity (Slides and End activities) by using the Google Slides Add-ON Peardeck.

They may fill out their responses on kid-lined paper in the booklet to answer prompts. The booklet comes in primary lines and secondary lines. Students will enjoy creating a purse and necklace to give to someone they love. The purse has decorations for students to cut out and glue to the inside or the front. They can also make the decorations have a 3-Dimesional effect if they choose by simply cutting on the dotted lines and folding on the solid lines. This project is super easy to assemble.

Firstly, there is a great classroom display and sorting activity that is perfect for introducing students to Anne Frank and some of the key events of World War 2. There are 42 posters or cards that include many of the key events from her life and some from the Second World War.
Secondly, there is a close reading activity - children need to read through an informational text, and then answer comprehension and grammar questions, before completing an extension activity.
Finally, there is a biography writing unit. The unit has been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each. Ideal for students learning about World War II.

Special Person Craft for Mother's Day Father's Day and Grandparent's Day

This special person writing activity and craft allows students to create a meaningful gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day or Grandparent's Day. This simple craft and writing project is sure to delight the special person in the child's life.
How to Make:
To create the writing aspect of this activity, students will use the brainstorming ideas page to write down reasons they love their special person or when they do something the child loves. The student then gets to choose some of their best ideas to write on their heart craft. After writing their sentences, students can decorate their parent gift any way they choose. Students may choose to cut out their craft and glue it to some colored construction paper or card stock.
This packet includes several variations for different things a child may call their special person. There is also a blank craft for the student to write their special name.

This craft and writing activity are very easy to set up. Students simply need their craft template, a brainstorming ideas page, a writing utensil for the writing section, and crayons, markers, or colored pencils to decorate their craft. Scissors and glue are only needed if the child wishes to mount their craft to colored card stock or construction paper.
