It helps students to discover e by themselves and to apply it in the well known PERT-formula. They apply their knowledge of logs, ln and e in a worksheet with real-life financial problems with balances being boosted with more investments and depleted by withdrawals. Calculus Differentiation Finding Local Maximum and Minimum points
