The Snowmen's Day- Adding Single Digits to 10
By Rebekah Poe Teaching
Students will create a book about how ten snowmen spent their day! Each page shows a way to make ten. Rhyming sentences show how different groups of snowmen do different things, but each time, all ten are together. With three differentiated versions, there is sure to be one to fit the needs of each of your students. Students can draw their own snowmen in the boxes on the pages, color in the correct number of snowmen in each box, or color in an errorless version. Students can also use manipulatives to count out snowmen instead of drawing or match the manipulative to the picture. At the bottom of each page, students will be able to write in the equation that equals ten.
Travel-themed Adventure Classroom Decorations Alphabet Bulletin Board Letters
By Rebekah Poe Teaching
Download these PNG files to print and create your own bulletin board! Each letter is a full-sized sheet, so you will need to adjust what size you want to print when you go to print them (the size in the photo is printed as 5x7; two to a page).
The files are completely transparent, so you can print them as black and white (as pictured), or print them on colorful cardstock to match your color scheme. You can even print them in black and white and allow your students to color them in for a fun team-building, ice-breaker activity at the beginning of the school year! That's a great opportunity for them to take ownership of the classroom decor.
All letters are capital. Font and clipart from Picmonkey.com. You will have to unzip the files.

Tropical Jungle Boho Black and White with Leaves Self Assessment Classroom Decor
By Rebekah Poe Teaching
Looking for a quick, simple way for your students to self-assess their knowledge on a subject? I've got you covered! My "turn in bin" was a staple in my elementary classroom for students to give me a glimpse into their level of comfort and understanding of a subject- simply by turning it in!
Two versions of the labels are included: leaves with the pink border (pictured) and leaves with a green border.
These labels are designed to fit the three drawer Sterilite Bins (linked here on Amazon for your convenience). Students can use these drawer labels as an anonymous, quick self-assessment once they have completed an assignment. Before use, I recommend discussing with students the importance of honest reflection of their work and understanding of the assignment and choosing an appropriate drawer to turn their work into.
