Example of a remixable resource!

Students will create a book about how ten snowmen spent their day! Each page shows a way to make ten. Rhyming sentences show how different groups of snowmen do different things, but each time, all ten are together. With three differentiated versions, there is sure to be one to fit the needs of each of your students. Students can draw their own snowmen in the boxes on the pages, color in the correct number of snowmen in each box, or color in an errorless version. Students can also use manipulatives to count out snowmen instead of drawing or match the manipulative to the picture. At the bottom of each page, students will be able to write in the equation that equals ten.

My best selling skip counting puzzles are now available to print as book marks to help students quickly reference skip counting for numbers 1-12. Find the original puzzles here as digital and printable resources.

Use these labels on the front of a three-drawer bin to allow the students the opportunity to self-assess how well they think they know the material covered. Students can choose from "I've got this!", "I still need some help with this," and "I don't understand this yet." This allows teachers to gauge the students' self-awareness. Trim to fit drawers.

Your students will love working on skip counting with these printable and digital puzzles! Includes numbers 1-12. Page 4 of the pdf contains a link that will allow you to make a copy of the digital version to use for distance learning.

Print each page on colorful cardstock. Laminate if desired. Cut apart the numbers with the skip counting patterns. Do not cut the numbers with the multiplication equations. Students will match the answer to the multiplication fact to complete the puzzle of the number by which they are skip counting. You can also print the numbers with the skip counting patterns to display in the classroom for a visual reference.

Print and laminate alphabet arc, picture cards, and arrow. Punch a hole where indicated on the alphabet arc and attach the arrow to the arc with a brad. 

Students will draw a picture card, place it in the box under the arc, and match the picture to its beginning sound (with the exception of boX for X) by rotating the spinning arrow to point to the correct letter. Alternately, students could turn over a card and place it in front of them, rotate the arrow to the correct letter, and then write the letter with a dry erase marker in the box below the arc for additional writing practice. Pictures coordinate with the key words from the Phonics First program, but this product is in no way related to Orton-Gillingham or its affiliates.

Discuss with your students the importance of setting goals for themselves. Help them develop goals that will challenge them without frustrating them. Help them come up with steps and actions they can take to achieve their goals. Get your students up and moving with this fun Hopscotch Math activity! Digital and printable version are included.

Draw a hopscotch board on the sidewalk. Toss bean bags (a folded pair of socks works too!) on to two numbers. Write the numbers in the boxes and solve the equation. Then hop to the numbers to get the bean bags and begin again!

For the digital version, type the numbers into the text boxes.

If you do not have sidewalk chalk, they can pick two numbers from the hopscotch image included on the worksheets. Alternatively, they can use a pack of playing cards (numbers only) to draw numbers.

1. Print the pdf on a plain sheet of paper to make your template.

2. Cover the boxes with sticky notes (make sure all stickies are going the same direction with the sticky side on top).

3. Place your paper back in your printer tray facing the direction your printer prints (for mine- I put my paper upside down; I HIGHLY recommend testing a plain sheet of paper to determine the direction you'll need to place your paper).

4. Peel the stickies off and repeat as many times as you want.

5. Spark smiles!

Leave on your students' desks for them to find when they first come in, or pass them out during class as you see students working hard. You can also leave them as little notes of encouragement for your teacher friends!
