Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 42 words for a total of 11 pages. Check out the preview of some pages in the pictures. They each feature the English name in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Languages included are Chinese (simplified/Red), Arabic (Violet), Russian (Green), and Spanish (Brown). To help aid meaning, I've included colored pictures and illustrations.

Entertain your class while integrating music and language with Music Wordle! This resources includes 46 Music Wordles that you can assign to your students or play together as a class. You could even hold a competition to see who can solve each Worldle first! There is lots of flexibility on how you can use this resource. I created this in Google Sheets. Your Music Wordle Google Sheet will include links to each of the 46 Music Wordle Puzzles. I've included a solutions tab as well as a table that includes puzzle hints, if you choose to share with your students. Each hyperlink is set up for you to make a copy of the Music World Puzzle before you play.

Select 4 different types of music to play for students. (scary, upbeat, nature, lullaby, etc)

Students will write and draw how the music makes them feel.

These ADORABLE song cards are a FUN & EASY way to incorporate active movement songs into your classroom! I put these cards on the wall in my classroom near my circle carpet and let the children take turns picking out their favorite songs during our music & movement (dance party) time. These versatile cards can also be used in a pocket chart, laminated and placed on a metal binder ring, or used to make song sticks.

The songs included in this product and been tried & tested in an actual preschool classroom and are well-loved by my students. I introduce a handful of songs at the beginning of the year and gradually add more songs as the children begin to gain familiarity with the playlist.

An October classic just in time for the spooky bucket drums to come out is the smash hit from Disney's Haunted Mansion "Grim Grinning Ghosts"!

There are five all-color coded slides along with the form identifiers listed next to each phrase. Discuss form with the students and teach them (by rote) the rhythms on the powerpoint with the corresponding repeats (most are repeated 3 times). Then, apply it to drums!

All regular notation is to be played on the buckets (or drums, or ground, however you wish), and the X notation (with a down stem) are played as stick clicks above their head (or you could apply it to a tambourine or other auxiliary instrument)

Introduce sixteenth notes to your students one of Judith Viorst's classic books! If you are looking for a fun chant to go with this book which will introduce sixteenth notes, look no further! Learn the chant and then have your students speak it every time Alexander says he will not be moving. Use the accompanying worksheet to decode for sixteenth note rhythms. While you are reviewing sixteenth notes, review rests as well, by asking students why there are boxes over the punctuation marks. Great for late 2nd-3rd grade.

This package includes 4 tasks to get your students thinking about their musical choices. What Is Included: Task 1: Create Your Apple Playlist Task 2: Descriptive Paragraph About Your Playlist Task 3: Cover Art Design Task 4: Reflection Questions (Equity and Inclusivity) Rubric I typically give this assignment out at the beginning of the school year to get to know my student’s taste in music. It takes between 4-6 periods to complete and is appropriate for grade 5-8. Please note: This assignment works best if you are able to access Apple Music. As a teacher, you could always set up a free account to show to your students or ask your students if any of them already have it and would be willing to show the class how it works. Spend some time and show them how to use it if you have access to it. You can also see some demos from the Apple website. If you do not subscribe to Apple Music, I highly recommend it. You can still use this assignment without Apple Music with your students and they can reflect on the inclusivity of the playlist that they create. TIPS: 1. With "Meter Reader", students will see a 4/4, 3/4, or 2/4 meter with typical rhythms inside the measure.

There will be an empty box within the measure and students will have to figure out which corresponding rhythm completes the measure.

There are 4/4, 3/4, and 2/4 examples with quarter, whole, eighth and half note rhythms and rest patterns and also dotted quarter and half note rhythms.

There are multiple ways of assessment -- play as a class, individually, or team against team!

Use this book from the Bear Book Series to teach your students about quarter rest, re solfege syllable and have them playing, chanting and singing! Use the chant included to chant along or sing along. Add barred instruments for more engagement. Decode for rhythm syllables and solfege syllables. Teach the recorder part to the 3rd grade students either by rote or through reading the music and play along with the song! Adaptable for grades PreK-2nd grade.
