Glimmers, which are the opposite of triggers are those moments of pure joy and serenity that light up their lives. I use the materials to share and practice glimmers with my students & after just 3 days back the kids have already started using the term "glimmer" when something brings them joy!

The word Glimmers originates from Deb Dana, LCSW, psychotherapist, and author who coined the term. Glimmers which is the opposite of a trigger are those fleeting instances that bring us warmth and peace, offering a profound positive impact on our mental health. The messages encourage children to reinforce positive self-talk and identify their strengths, and provide fun recognition of students in your trauma sensitive classroom and positive behavior management program.

These positive affirmation cards are perfect for gifting to students to remind them that they are worthy of love and belonging, always and unconditionally. They also reinforce positive self-talk, a skill that is vital to self-compassion and developing an internal locus of control.
