Students respond to several statements that challenge or support their preconceived ideas about key concepts as well as their peers’ ideas. The Anticipation Guides can help structure meaningful conversations that reviews what students already know and engages them in critical thinking about the topic they will be exploring. ANTICIPATION GUIDES
There is ONE Anticipation Guide that comes in two different variations:
▶️ Variation #1:
⭐ Part 1: The first section of the Anticipation Guide features a list of statements alongside columns labeled "AGREE" and "DISAGREE." Students are tasked with reading each statement and marking either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE" based on their perspective.
⭐ Part 2: The second section of the Anticipation Guide prompts students to choose a statement from the list above and delve into its significance to them. They may reflect on how the statement connects to their own lives, share a personal experience related to it, or elaborate on their thoughts concerning its importance in greater detail.
▶️ Variation #2: This Anticipation Guide worksheet format includes a list of statements accompanied by columns for "AGREE," "DISAGREE," and "COMMENTS." Students are instructed to read each statement and mark either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE." They are then encouraged to elaborate on their thoughts or ideas regarding each statement in the designated "COMMENTS" column.

SELF-ASSESSMENT
This resource includes a single Body Image Self-Assessment. Students will use the body image-related statements to evaluate how their current self-perception affects their daily life and well-being. They will score the statements using the following scale: 2 for “Regularly,” 1 for “Occasionally,” and 0 for “Never.” They will use this self-assessment as a tool to help them identify areas where they might focus on improving their self-acceptance and self-esteem.
This assessment also serves as a valuable tool for initiating conversations about body image and exploring strategies to improve self-esteem, address body image concerns, and promote a healthier self-perception.

Directions:
- Label each of the four corners of your room with signs for the following: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree.

This product includes 1 social story that focuses on feeling down. Students will learn the meaning for the words feeling down, anxious, and depression/depressed.
The social story that is included in this product relates with feeling down, what feeling down also means, how to feel better if you feel down, how feeling down and feeling depressed relate and differ from one another, the difference between anxiety and depression, signs of feeling depressed, and what you can do if you feel depressed. The social story that is included in this product focused on feeling down. What happens when something happens and we can't do something that we are looking forward to, what could cause someone to feel down, what can help someone to feel better when they are feeling down, and comparing feeling down with feeling depressed.
The social story include comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. At the end of this product, there are 4 role-playing scenario cards that will require students to discuss how they feel when they are feeling down and what each character feels in each situation and why, what the character can do to feel better about the given situation, what the student would do if they were in that situation, etc.
