Classical Music Activities for February | Listening Buddies ✪

By Agee and Row Classical Music Appreciation

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to add classical music to your classroom or homeschool? Classical music has been shown to provide numerous benefits for children, including reducing stress, improving focus and concentration, and increasing creativity. These activities are great for music appreciation and also help build social-emotional skills! Each activity is easy to set up (no glue required!) and a great way to engage students for Valentine's Day.

Listening Buddies sheets feature a piece of classical music with the composer’s name. While the music plays, students draw a scene in the box inspired by the music. They can also explore the feelings and mood of a piece by choosing meaningful keywords that match their listening experience. Students color the listening buddy at the top of the page or you can print the color version.

There are no wrong answers, and no musical training is required. Just print and play! Music is available on YouTube or your preferred streaming service.

This activity pack features one music selection from Sweet February Mindful Listening! Students can color their black & white listening buddy page topper or you can print the color version.

By TaughtOught Homeschooling

Looking for some fun seasonally-themed handwriting activities for the winter? This bundle includes 40 holiday-themed worksheets for winter and three other winter holidays. These sentence practice worksheets will help your child or student build sentences and write sentences independently while connecting the image with the sentence's meaning.

Students can use the finger-spacing tool (in three different skin tones) to assist them in perfect word spacing. Students can also color the seasonally-themed pictures that illustrate the sentence they are practicing writing.

✏️ This bundle will save you 20% on all enclosed products!

✏️ NOTE: You can use the finger-spacing buddy as is, laminate it, and/or attach it to a popsicle stick for further support of little hands. It’s recommended to print the finger-spacing buddy on thicker paper, such as cardstock.
