But she wasn't just a folklorist; her works like the Symphony in E Minor showcased her mastery of orchestral techniques, earning her the prestigious W.C. She championed the works of other Black composers, and actively nurtured young musicians, her passion for education and inclusivity ensuring her legacy reached far beyond the concert hall.

This is a US History lesson on American Revolution Battles and Events. Product includes notes over events such as Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill, Saratoga, Valley Forge, Yorktown, and the Treaty of Paris. Also included are fill in the blanks worksheet with answer sheet and a Battle and Events Map. Format is a PDF with a link to a Google Slide Presentation.

** Are you looking for a resource to teach students to understand temporal concepts or are you Teaching sequence of events, Following directions or Sentence writing?  These syntax activities will teach your students how to understand 25, higher level temporal concepts (prior to, simultaneous, thereafter). It is a simple drill in which students are provided with a small scenario containing the word and asked to determine the meaning of the concept.**

You will receive a 26 Slide Lesson which contains the lesson and one Assessment worksheet to print.

The Lesson works well with older students (Grades 6- 10)  or with students who have mild  cognitive delays yet good language skills. An independent lesson will take about 30 minutes however if you are using it as a teaching tool during instruction the lesson can easily fill 60 minutes with breaks in between for group discussion.
