Make Thanksgiving writing fun with this opinion writing resource focused on students' favorite Thanksgiving foods! This is the perfect no prep writing activity for the month of November. It is perfect for elementary classrooms. Students will express their opinions, support their choice with reasons, and practice structured writing. Need to help your students learn to take notes and a way for you as the instruction to understand what they understood and what they need help with?

This is a great organizer that students can use to evaluate what they understand and what they need help with.

Using these science phenomenon photos is a great way to introduce many of the NGSS. There are 19 different photos; with at least one per standard. The standards are listed at the top of each sheet. Pick and choose what you want. Using this strategy with students creates a routine way of thinking. It requires them to observe, think, and wonder!
