Fun game to practice past simple and past continuous. This is my go-to game when I need to drill some grammar into my students. It's by far the most efficient grammar game. I love it because it's no prep, just PRINT AND GO. And my students love it because it doesn't feel like learning when, in fact, they do a TON of learning. We can easily spend the whole lesson playing battleship and they want to keep on playing even after the bell rings.

It's also a great activity for substitute lessons or when I'm in a time press and don't have much time to prepare for a lesson.

How to play:

• It can be played in pairs or in small teams
• Hide your ships in the left field. They mustn't touch.
• Try to hit the enemy ships in the right field by making sentences.
• If your enemy hits your ship, indicate that in the left field. If you hit your enemy's ship, mark it down in the right field. If you miss, mark it down as well. If you hit your enemy's ship, have another go.
• To win, sink all of your enemy's ships before he sinks yours.

Hamlet wants revenge and the story follows a bloody path in which he takes revenge but loses his own life, and the life of the woman he loves – Ophelia.

This is a play script for William Shakespeare's Macbeth, which has been rewritten for students from third grade to seventh grade. The script now also comes with a PDF teacher presentation to help you introduce the play and the characters to your students.

Macbeth tells the story of a fierce warrior who meets three strange witches on his way home after a battle. The witches tell him that he will be King. At first Macbeth thinks they are lying but then he starts to believe the witches' prophecies.

He sends a letter to his wife, Lady Macbeth, who persuades him to kill the King and claim the throne. He does this but the couple find the guilt too much, and then the previous King’s sons come back for revenge. The story ends in death for Macbeth, as Macduff and Malcolm come to claim back the throne!

The Future Perfect is a verb tense used for actions that will be completed before some other point in the future. For example: "The parade will have ended by the time Chester gets out of bed. At eight o’ clock I will have left."

The Future Perfect tense is used for talking about an action that will be completed between now and some point in the future. On the other hand, the Future Perfect tense is only for actions that will be complete before a specified point in the future. In other words, the action you’re talking about must have a deadline. If you don’t mention a deadline, use the Simple Future tense instead of the Future Perfect tense.
