These 24 Africa Task Cards are a great way to introduce the unit by having students work in cooperative groups centers or individually to read the task card questions and research the answers to each task card question as if it were a scavenger hunt. These may also be used at the end of the Africa Continent unit to evaluate what students gained during the unit. Display these task cards throughout the room and have students work on a timed rotation exploring the different aspects of Africa such as physical, political, cultural, and economic characteristics. Student answer sheet and teacher key included.

This is a great cooperative learning activity but can be adapted to one student per card if you choose to have them work individually.
