Graphing Ratios Practice Worksheet
By The M-Intercept
This worksheet provides students with step by step instructions for how to read a word problem, create a ratio table, find missing values on the table, and then graph the ratio table.
This worksheet was designed to supplement our district's curriculum, which expected students to use ratios and graph ratios, but did not provide ample opportunity to practice the skill thoroughly. I hope this worksheet is helpful for you and your students.

By Daniel
This step by step Exponents and Roots TASK AND TUTORIAL BUNDLE , with images of the calculator and the relevant keys, guides students to independently become 100% comfortable with their calculator. The aim of BOTH is DIY for students. Independent work by students – no prep needed by teacher. Just print a copy of the tutorial and task for each student and watch them learn how to use their calculators well.
Print BOTH, hand it to students and watch them be able to ...
1. Calculate the square and square root of all numbers.
2. Calculate any higher power than 2 of any number.
3. Calculate any root other than the square root of any number.
4. Do complex computations with all exponents and roots using their calculator.
If you want to look at the other functions of the TI-34 Multiview Calculator, they are also listed here as bundles! You can view them HERE... there are 2 of them:
AND HERE:
This calculator tutorial and task series addresses the challenge of a classroom full of students who have a variety of different calculators. The series contains eight of the most popular calculators used in US Middle Schools.
TI-30Xa, TI-30XIIS, TI-30XS Multiview, TI 34 Multiview, TI-36X Pro, Casio fx-300ES Plus, Casio fx-300MS Plus, Casio fx-300MS
Square root, Square, Cube Root, Cube, Powers of 2, Powers of 3, Exponents, Raising numbers to powers, raising numbers to exponents, Taking the roots of whole numbers
When should students use a calculator in mathematics? When fluency with mathematical procedures without the help of a calculator are well established, students should be able to use calculators with more complex mathematical problems, real-life applications and calculations involving very large and small numbers.

This is a comprehensive poster on The Order of Operations. It comes with FOUR VERSIONS of the same poster formulated to PEMDAS, PEDMAS, BODMAS and BIDMAS. One thing that we find a lot of guided posters on this subject lack is an explanation of WHY there is an Order of Operations, and why it is in that order. We hope that this poster will change that, and give learners a deeper understanding of why The Order of Operations are so important as well as explaining the order itself. Download it for FREE right now!

FRENCH MATHS | SANS CAHIER/PAPERLESS | ÉQUATIONS | PRÉ-ALGRÈBRE | BALANCER

Connect: A Math- Based Free For All (Solving trinomials when a = 1)
By Howlin' Husky Math Games
Connect is a math-based card game that engages students. They can practice any math skill and have fun in this fast-paced environment. Students use flashcard-like playing cards and math symbols to match each other's cards. When there is a match, both players shout out the answer to the shown equation, and the fastest player wins!
The catch is, there could be multiple matches in a round when the top cards are taken off, creating a chain reaction of fun!
The best part is, you can edit the cards using Google Slides to fit any of your needs! This game can be used for ANY skill. Currently, the game is set up for solving trinomials when a = 1, but you can replace equations as you see fit. It's easy change the cards to addition, fractions, percent, solving equations, factoring, etc.
Even though the game is designed for math, you could switch the game from math equations to sight words, rhyming words, description words, science words, important dates in history, etc. The cards are editable!
Contents:
* 90 cards (6 sheets)
-80 EDITABLE equation cards
-10 Connect cards
-6 blank cards
* Instruction Manual with complete gameplay description
Helpful hint: Printing out the sheets on cardstock or laminating the cards will help make them last longer.
Thanks for checking us out! Check back for more games from Howlin' Husky Math Games!
