This resource includes a scenario, a suspect list, 5 clues that students will solve to find the culprit and answers keys to all pages. Decimal skills practiced in this are: adding & subtracting decimals, ordering decimals from least to greatest, decimal notation, adding money, comparing decimals.

This resource would be great to use as a review before the end of module assessment, before state tests, on the days leading up to a school break so new materials isn't being introduced yet, as a math lesson to leave for a substitute teacher, use individual clues as daily center work over the course of a week, etc. This resource also has an end of year theme with the prospect of moving onto the next grade being on the line occurring in the storyline and suspect list.
