Sometimes, we as teachers are the only ones in their lives to "make it a great day" and are the only ones that can make these special occasions special to them. Your students will love these geography-themed Valentine's Day cards and laugh at the play on words using country names. Your students will have a blast figuring out what each Valentine's card means and sharing them with their classmates.

In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letter with counting snap cubes, coloring the letter, tracing the letter, and finally, writing the letter.

Building letters with blocks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. Students don’t have to use a pencil for writing, try broken crayons (broken crayons help promote tripod grasp pattern), q-tip painting, or fingerpaint.
