THANK YOU AND HAPPY TEACHING!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

nOTE:

For most decodable readers the writer can ‘make up’ a story by choosing from only these types of words. However, to accurately tell the Bible story, I had to use a few sight words and Bible vocabulary.

These are not meant to be in-depth Bible lessons. These are meant to support your reading program, integrating the Bible into early learning!

Decodable Readers: Digraphs

By K3 Homeschool Foundations

When learning to read children must be taught patterns systematically and explicitly. After they are taught a pattern like blends they should read and spell words with that pattern in isolation and then read stories with the pattern!

These books help your child practice reading digraphs and high-frequency words in a fun and engaging story! Read the back of the book to engage them in the story. It has a question so that they can read to find the answer!

These books will help your little one feel confident in their reading and feel just like a big kid because they can read their very own book!

These books cover:

sh

ch

th

ck

4 books in total

*Because there are very few words for wh that have a short vowel I didn't make a book specifically for wh. Instead, I put words throughout all the books with the digraph wh.

These books are very little prep! Print, staple, READ!
