This rounding packet has everything you need to help teach your students how to round to the nearest ten. These worksheets are scaffolded and build upon each other. There is one handout for students to keep on their desk as a reference for rounding. Then there are 9 different worksheets to help students practice the skill of rounding to the nearest ten.

What you'll get in this download:

• One page is a handout that you can give to your students to help them remember how to round. It shows a number line and what numbers round up and what numbers round down.
• There are 2 pages of practice that help students practice finding their number on the number line and distinguishing what two groups of tens the number is between. They will correctly identify where the given number is located.
• 1 page has students practice identifying what two groups of tens the number is between and then decide what group of ten their number is closest to.
• 2 pages of practice that have students round to the nearest ten. These worksheets have the number line on the top to help assist students.
• 2 pages of practice that just have the student round to the nearest ten without any guided help. This is perfect to introduce rounding and then to have them independently work on it to show what they know.

This is the perfect way to review your geometry unit!

Students will love this Jeopardy-like game to review all Common Core Geometry standards. Categories include PERIMETER, AREA, 3D SHAPES AND NETS, SURFACE AREA, VOLUME AND VOCABULARY. Points range from 100 - 500, which reflect the increase in difficulty from 100-point basic review questions to 500-point questions that require students to apply their knowledge.

**FULLY EDITABLE** While the game is complete, it is also editable in PowerPoint, making it easy to add questions or change the level of difficulty based on your students' needs.

PERIMETER: questions require students to find perimeter on basic shapes, the coordinate plane, and to find the length or width given a perimeter.

AREA: questions cover finding the area of a rectangle, triangles, parallelograms, trapezoids and irregular shapes. Some questions are straight forward and others require studnets to identify expressions and/or apply their knowledge.

3D SHAPES AND NETS: questions involve having students name 3D shapes, find an appropriate net, and identify faces, edges and vertices.

SURFACE AREA: questions focus on finding the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms, as well as pyramids. Some questions just ask for the surface area to be found and others require determining appropriate expressions.

VOLUME: questions require students to find the volume of a rectangular prism, find the length given the volume, width, and height, determine how many 1/2-unit cubes fit into a rectangular prism, and apply a given volume formula.

Do I need to use a specific Bible Story Book?

No! While I prefer to use The Beginner’s Bible Timeless Children’s Stories by Zondervan with these lessons, they are not required. You can easily use your own favorite Bible Story book, Scripture, or simply read the Bible Summary in the actual lesson that retells the Bible story.

Statement of Faith:

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. I believe that Jesus is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and paid the penalty for our sins through his death on the cross, resurrected on the third day having victory over death. I believe in the trinity, that God is existent in 3 separate persons - God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe, as Calvary Chapel states, “that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. This set of mixed media weeping willow art projects contains 5 projects based on the artwork of Claude Monet.  These projects use a variety of materials, truly inspire students’ creativity & are a student favorite. These projects were designed to be used for Veterans Day and Memorial Day because Monet created this series of paintings to show his grief.  They can be used with an artist study, a unit on plants or trees, Impressionism, or any time of year and are a great way to bring social-emotional learning (SEL) into your classroom. 

This lesson is highly engaging, multi-disciplinary, and contains 5 different projects. It is designed for 2nd-5th grade students but can be used with middle school students too. The variety of projects is such that centers may be set up to create the backgrounds in one class and the tree and/or leaves during another class.
