Cut apart the 4 tally cards on each page, laminate if you wish for durability. Hang around the room for students to walk around with their clipboard and recording sheet. I’ve made color and B&W options to chose from. You may also just cut cards and place in a Math Center bucket with which ever recording sheet you want them to use. Think about running the page double sided with 2 skills for those early finishers.

There are 2 open ended pages where the TEACHER can write in her own objectives, either whole class or to differentiate per the needs of your students.

There are 2 pages that do not use the tally cards 1-20, they are basically worksheets asking the student to write in the tally marks to match the number on the worksheets.

These roll and build boards can be used as part of small group instruction, an assessment piece for number identification and counting, or as a fun game in your classrooms interest areas.

What Is Included?

This PDF file comes with 16 boards in total:

8 one dice boards (1-6); 4 with and 4 without written directions

8 two dice boards (1-12); 4 with and 4 without written directions

How Do I Use It?

. Simply print the boards you want to use (you can choose from single or two-dice versions based on your students needs

. Encourage your students to roll one or two dice (based on the version you chose) and to count the number represented. Next, students will find the corresponding numeral on their board. Using the corresponding number of unifix cubes or any other stackable material, students will build a tower on top of that numeral. Repeat until board is filled!

This product is a digital puzzle that requires students to complete 50 basic addition fact fluency problems. The link to the digital puzzle is on a clickable PDF that you would download once purchased. Students will put the answers in the answer box. This activity is no prep and is self checking. If the student puts the correct answer in, the answer box will turn green and a piece of the digital puzzle will appear in the green box to the right. In addition to this, an emoji pops up next to the correct answer. If the student puts in the wrong answer, the answer box will turn red and no puzzle piece will appear. Counting and coloring Numbers 0 to 4 on the abacus in a maze. These number sense mazes are perfect for pre-k and kindergarten to gain awareness of the numbers 0–4. Students practice number recognition on both the numeral and the abacus. This also encourages students to subitize and use number sense.

What is subitizing?

Subitizing is the ability to quickly recognize the number of objects in a small group without counting them individually. It's essentially the ability to perceive the quantity of objects at a glance. This skill is particularly evident with small numbers, typically up to around 5 or 6 objects in this activity, 0–4.

What is number sense?

Number sense is the ability to identify and conceptualize numbers, like 1, 2, 3. The activity helps compare the abacus beads with the numerals.
