"I have, Who has?" is a fun and engaging whole-class game for your French class to practice vocabulary. The vocabulary used on the cards covers animals (please download the preview to view the terms used). This game includes 2 versions of the activity in a zipped file - one with the images in color and another with the images in black and white. Each set includes the same 32 cards as well as directions, an answer key, and a student answer sheet. My students love playing this game, especially when I time them. They love trying to beat their times.

Set 2: 42 playing cards to print on heavy paper or card stock

This card game is an excellent way to practice and memorize verb conjugations, and it will have your students speaking to each other in French the whole time! In the deck of 42 cards there are 7 families of 6 cards (je - tu - il - nous - vous - ils).

One player distributes five cards to each player (2 to 4 per group). The rest of the cards are placed in the "pioche". One player begins the game by asking another player to give him a card. He might say, "Dans la famille DANSER, est-ce que tu as J'AI DANSÉ?" or "Dans la famille PARLER, est-ce que tu as NOUS N'AVONS PAS PARLÉ?"

The goal is to come up with a complete family. If the player doesn't have it, he says "pioche". If he draws the card that he asked for, he can continue to play and ask someone for another card. Each time a player comes up with all six members of a family, he can make a stack. At the end of the game, the player with the most sets of families wins!

"I have, Who has?" is a fun and engaging whole-class game for your French class to practice vocabulary. The vocabulary used on the cards is French numbers from zero to thirty nine, not in numerical order. This game includes a pdf file with 40 cards as well as directions, an answer key, and a student answer sheet. My students love playing this game, especially when I time them. They love trying to beat their times.

This product will get your students understanding ratios (les rapports) in an authentic way - by using recipes!

This package comes with:

It's highly visual and based on discussion.

This is a really fun game to practice with your students who are learning vocabulary about CHEZ LE MÉDECIN, and it involves NO PREP once you've printed and cut out the cards. I've included both a beginner and intermediate version of the game as well as black and white and color versions. The beginner version has the words written out and the intermediate version only shows pictures. Have a look at the thumbnails to see what they look like.

Each version includes 41 cards. Depending on class size you could either give each student more than one card or have them play with a partner. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again.

Here's how this game works. Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says "Je commence" starts the game. He says, for example, Je commence! J'ai une fraise. Qui a une orange? The person who has the card with an orange on it says, J'ai une orange. Qui a du bacon? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, J'ai fini!

Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. If the vocabulary is completely new you could start out with the beginner deck and as the words become more familiar you could move on to the intermediate level. It's really a lot of fun, and though you can play with younger students the older ones love this game just as much.

Finir - Present Tense French Tic Tac Toe Games - No Prep Printable

Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating, writing, and speaking the verb finir in the present tense.

This resource includes two worksheets with 6 tic-tac-toe grids per page. One worksheet is for speaking answers, and the other one is for writing them. Photocopy on the front and back for a no-prep set of 12 grids for differentiated learning.

Students play in pairs, conjugating finir so that it agrees with the subject pronoun in each box, saying answers aloud or writing them to claim squares on tic tac toe grids. Three correctly conjugated verbs in a row wins the game. Students need to use different colored pens or markers when writing their answers.

Parler - Present Tense French Tic Tac Toe Games - No Prep Printable

Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating, writing, and speaking the verb parler in the present tense.

This resource includes two worksheets with 6 tic-tac-toe grids per page. One worksheet is for speaking answers, and the other one is for writing them. Photocopy on the front and back for a no-prep set of 12 grids for differentiated learning.

Students play in pairs, conjugating parler so that it agrees with the subject pronoun in each box, saying answers aloud or writing them to claim squares on tic tac toe grids. Three correctly conjugated verbs in a row wins the game. Students need to use different colored pens or markers when writing their answers.
