ANTICIPATION GUIDES

There is ONE Anticipation Guide that comes in two different variations:

▶️ Variation #1:

⭐ Part 1: The first section of the Anticipation Guide features a list of statements alongside columns labeled "AGREE" and "DISAGREE." Students are tasked with reading each statement and marking either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE" based on their perspective.

⭐ Part 2: The second section of the Anticipation Guide prompts students to choose a statement from the list above and delve into its significance to them. They may reflect on how the statement connects to their own lives, share a personal experience related to it, or elaborate on their thoughts concerning its importance in greater detail.

▶️ Variation #2: This Anticipation Guide worksheet format includes a list of statements accompanied by columns for "AGREE," "DISAGREE," and "COMMENTS." Students are instructed to read each statement and mark either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE." They are then encouraged to elaborate on their thoughts or ideas regarding each statement in the designated "COMMENTS" column.

SELF-ASSESSMENT

This resource provides a Time Management Self-Assessment for students. They can evaluate their time management skills by assigning scores using the scale: 2 for "Regularly," 1 for "Occasionally" and 0 for "Never." This tool helps students understand how they manage their time, offering insights into their habits and areas where they can improve.

The purpose of taking a time management self-assessment is to gain insights into stduents' current time management skills and habits. By evaluating responses to specific statements or questions, they can identify areas of strength and areas that may need improvement in how they manage their time. Students will learn about how being friendly is important, why you should be friendly towards others, when you are friendly you are nice, caring, etc., the difference between sympathy and empathy and how they relate with being friendly.

One social story that focuses on being friendly is included in this product. The social story includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. This product shares with students the importance of being friendly, accepting others for who they are, giving people a chance, communicating with others, and when you should show empathy to others.

At the end of the product, you will find 4 role-playing cards that relate with being friendly. Students can role-play each situation and talk about how they would feel if they were in the situation.
