Back To School Line Tracing Cards improve hand and eye coordination. These tracing line worksheets will keep kids busy tracing. This activity is designed to help preschool through kindergarten students develop fine motor skills and prepare for writing. The tracing line is an important motor skill for learning to write.

Fine motor skill is the coordination of small muscles, in movements usually involving the synchronization of hands and fingers with the eyes

These pre-writing worksheets are vertical, diagonal and curved lines.

This hands-on activity features 10 pages different tracing lines to get your children to practice strengthening their muscles as well as learn how to write.

How to use

You can use these tracing lines printable in three ways

1. Line Practice strips: print, laminate, and cut out the lines strips. Have the students trace the line with a dry-erase marker.

2. Worksheets: Simply print and laminate if you want to use it multiple times. Have the students trace the line with a dry-erase marker or crayon.

3. Digital activities: You can turn this activity into digital activity. The students can complete it on a device. Have your students use the highlight or pen to trace the lines. You can choose which pages you want to give to your students.
