First Grade Math for Addition Number Bonds for Sums up to 10

This 1st grade math ring is designed to help students create their own number bonds and addition problems by using picture prompts. This set of rings goes up to sums of 10. There are 16 cards in this set. They can be made as one ring of 16 cards or in two rings of 8 cards. The first 8 rings have sums up to 6 and the second 8 rings show sums between 7 and 10. Students will circle two sets of shapes to create their own number bonds with the shapes provided. Students will use dry erase markers to record their answers in a number sentence and within a number bond. There is an optional recording page students can use to record their answers. To put these cards together, simply print, cut and laminate. Use a hole punch to punch the hole in the top left and use a ring to place the cards together, in order. To make two sets of 8 rings, then print the directions and cover (at the bottom of this page) twice Even though this is titled a 1st grade product, it would work well for higher level kindergarten students as well.
