There is ONE Anticipation Guide that comes in two different variations:

⭐ *Part 1: *The first section of the Anticipation Guide features a list of statements alongside columns labeled "AGREE" and "DISAGREE." Students are tasked with reading each statement and marking either "AGREE" or "DISAGREE" based on their perspective.

⭐ *Part 2: *The second section of the Anticipation Guide prompts students to choose a statement from the list above and delve into its significance to them. They may reflect on how the statement connects to their own lives, share a personal experience related to it, or elaborate on their thoughts concerning its importance in greater detail.

**▶️ Variation #2: **This Anticipation Guide worksheet format includes a list of statements accompanied by columns for "AGREE," "DISAGREE," and "COMMENTS." SELF-ASSESSMENT

This resource includes a single Decision-Making Self-Assessment. This 19-slide PowerPoint presentation covers the early years of the Women’s Rights Movement in the United States, from 1840 through 1865. It is an ideal lesson for the antebellum time period or as a stand-alone resource for women’s history. It is also a good resource during Women’s History Month.

Each slide contains information and graphics that highlight how the Women’s Rights Movement developed during these twenty-five years. It points to the influential role of abolition in helping women to become activists and then the realization that women needed to take action on their own behalf. I use this form for students to keep track of the objectives for the day. At the end of class they are required to write something that they learned or maybe something that they already knew that we went into more depth about. They are also required to state something that they want more information about or would clarify something that we talked about. This is a simple way to quickly assess the lesson. I use this along side our student planners and agendas. This is sometimes my ticket out the door.
