The example state research report includes 7 slides - cover page, where is your state?, facts of the state, symbols of the state, interesting fact about the state, state flag, and why did you write about your state? The example provides students with a foundation of what is expected when they complete their own state research report. This product was developed for students who benefit from adapted instruction. This product can also be used with students who are on grade level as well.

The template is provided for students to write their rough draft. Once students are finished they can create a final draft using Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc. using the information from their rough draft.

The Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Unit is part of my Field Trip Unit Series. The series was created with homeschoolers in mind, but can be adapted to be used in a classroom as well. Field trips are a great way to supplement learning, but often homeschoolers don’t get any background information on the location of their field trip and want to enrich their experience by expanding the learning at home before and after the trip. These units help give information and fun activities before and after the field trip.

These units are available in PreK/Kinder, Elementary, and Middle & High School levels. All Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Units follow the same outline and the parent/teacher info sheet is the same for all three so that if you have children of several ages, you can seamlessly teach them together. Homeschooling parents and teachers taking multiple grades on the trip can easily combine different units. Check out all of the levels below, as well as a money saving bundle.

❖ La France - Advanced French conversation questions about France ❖

Part of our series of "discussions ciblées". List of 35 vocabulary words related to the conversation questions about France. Includes 20 discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. The questions are fun and thought provoking, and interesting discussions will happen! Students probably won't know the answers to a few of the questions, and when they find out they will know a lot more about French culture! You can print the list of words on one side of a page and the questions on the other side so that students can easily refer to the new vocabulary during their conversations. If you make a two sided copy everything will fit on one page.

Also included is a set of speaking cards for students to use prior to using the discussion cards so that they can become familiar with the theme and many new words. The cards just need to be printed and cut out so that your students can use them in pairs or small groups. Each card says, "Décris le mot suivant en français et ton partenaire le devinera." The vocabulary word is written both in French and English since many of the words will be new. This exposure to the vocabulary will make the discussion that follows flow easier. Students will still have easy access to the list of words on the other side of the photocopied questions.

❖ The house - Discussion ciblée - French themed conversation questions ❖

Part of our series of "discussions ciblées". This set is focuses on the topic of the house. You will find a list of 35 vocabulary words related to the house theme and 35 discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. This resource is especially useful for your chapter on "the house". As usual, the questions are thorough and thought provoking. I like to print the list of words on one side of a page and the questions on the other side so that students can easily refer to the new vocabulary during their conversations. If you make a two sided copy everything will fit on one page. There's also a link for a "Quizlet" set to help your students practice the 35 vocabulary words.

Students will be provided with a research project ideas list and a KWL chart in the beginning of the product. Students will then be provided with template cards that ask students to share why they chose the topic, what students want to learn about their topic before they begin researching, important facts they learned about their topic (with different color templates), what students learned about their topic that shocked them, what did students think about their topic before they researched it, and two sources templates are included (one to share 2 sources and another to share 3 sources). Students can color pictures or print out pictures in the given picture templates and can cut out the template cards that were filled in and glue on file folders or on a poster board to share.

Part of our series of "discussions ciblées". List of 30 vocabulary words related to the idea of decluttering one's life and home (or bedroom). Includes 20 discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. The questions are fun and thought provoking, and interesting discussions will happen! You can print the list of words on one side of a page and the questions on the other side so that students can easily refer to the new vocabulary during their conversations. If you make a two sided copy everything will fit on one page.

Also included is a set of speaking cards for students to use prior to using the discussion cards so that they can become familiar with the theme and many new words. The cards just need to be printed and cut out so that your students can use them in pairs or small groups. Each card says, "Décris le mot suivant en français et ton partenaire le devinera." The vocabulary word is written both in French and English since many of the words will be new. This exposure to the vocabulary will make the discussion that follows flow easier. Students will still have easy access to the list of words on the other side of the photocopied questions.

Writing a magazine article review based on a magazine article that students enjoyed reading is a fun and interesting project for them. Students can take this time to go back and review their favorite parts of the magazine, interesting facts they learned, what the article was about, and why they chose to write about the article. This packet includes a brainstorming template and rough draft template for students to write a magazine article review based on a magazine article that they read. Students can also use the rough draft template for a final written draft or can type their final draft.
