Learn about affixes with these prefix and suffix reference cards and task cards. Each prefix and suffix has as least one reference card that features the affix, it's meaning, a word that uses the affix with a corresponding visual, as well as a simple definition of the word. The task cards feature one word each for students to identify the different parts of the words and to write the definition of the word.
What is Included:
How to Use
The reference cards are perfect for placing in a writing center or on a ring for students to reference examples of various affixes for meaning and uses. The task cards are created for a center activity where students underline the different parts of each word then write the meaning of these words on the task card. There is an optional recording page to record answers instead of writing directly on the task cards.
