⭐Use one card a day during morning time. Have students fill out a STEAM / STEM worksheet with some of the challenges that require more problem solving and creativity.

⭐Practice sequencing by having students do several cards at a time, and then draw pictures of what they built (or the scenarios on the task cards) in the sequencing boxes.

⭐Use them for public speaking practice. Allow students to build as many cards as predetermined, and then show and tell with the class or their parents. They can discuss what they made, liked, what they would improve, and how it solved the problem on the task cards. They can practice speaking and listening skills, using loud and clear voices, and giving full attention to the speaker. Encourage students to ask questions to their classmates.

I love silly stories that bring humor and adventure to life for kids, but that also force them to use their imaginations in fun and exciting ways. This challenge task set does exactly that through the loose wacky stories where they are the main character. This novel study goes along with E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web. You and your students will go chapter by chapter. Studying the characters, setting, events, point of view, adjectives, text structures (Cause/Effect, Compare/Contrast, and Problem/Solution), and more. It all ends with a watch along with the 2006 live-action movie and a project comparing the movie and the book.

Things that are included in this product are: Completed Lesson Plans for each chapter (also a blank one that is editable), Google Slides to go with each chapter, Doodle notes prompts and organizers for each chapter, End of Chapter activities, Movie Watch Along activity, Assessments, and a Rubric for the project.

Words That Rhyme - Pumpkin Themed:

This is a fun activity that not only focuses on matching rhyming words but also gives your students a way to practice their fine motor cutting skills. There are #10 different fall words (in both black and white as well as color). Each word has #5 different words to cut out and then choose which words rhyme with the fall themed word on the pumpkin. They will then glue the words that rhyme to the pumpkin. Below is a list of the #10 fall themed words. There is both a black and white copy as well as a copy in color for each word that you can choose from. Sometimes I prefer printing in color and then other times I like to give my students the opportunity to make it their own and color their work. So it just depends on which way you prefer!
