✅ This resource includes 28 Negotiation and Compromise Scenario Task Cards in both colored and black & white formats. The Task Cards feature relevant scenarios that students can easily relate to, each followed by the question: "How would you negotiate a compromise in this situation?"
✅ The black & white Task Cards are designed for printing on any color paper of your choice!
✅ These Task Cards are versatile for use in various educational settings: as part of larger lessons, in guided small groups, for whole-class discussions, partner discussions leading to group or class sharing, or even for one-on-one sessions with a teacher, guidance counselor, or parent/guardian!
✅ The scenarios in these Task Cards mirror those found in the Scenario Worksheets and Scenario PowerPoint.
✅ Print the Task Cards on either gloss or regular paper and laminate them for durability. They can also be organized using a binder ring for easy access.
How/When To Use the Scenario Task Cards
▶️ SCENARIO WORKSHEETS
This resource includes 28 Negotiating a Compromise Scenario Worksheets, available in two variations. Both variations feature the same scenarios but with different images, all of which are age-appropriate.
✅ Scenario Worksheet Variation #1
This variation includes worksheets with unique images related to each scenario. There is a different image for each worksheet, resulting in a total of 28 worksheets.
✅ Scenario Worksheet Variation #2
This variation features the same image (a handshake) on every worksheet. Each of the 28 worksheets includes this consistent image.
✅ Customization
Feel free to mix and match worksheets if you find that one image may not be suitable for your students.
✅ Worksheet Features
Each worksheet in both variations includes lines and a question for students to write their responses. Students can answer the questions either on paper or using Google Slides. These worksheets contain the same scenarios as those in the Task Cards and PowerPoint.
✅ Google Slides Integration
Both worksheet variations are also available in Google Slides. Text boxes have been pre-created for ease of use. Each slide includes two instructional tabs: one for recovering accidentally deleted text boxes and another for zooming in to enlarge the worksheets. These features are especially helpful for students who are less familiar with Google Slides or need additional assistance.

Mystery At The Theme Park Escape Room

Are you looking for a fun activity to help build collaboration skills while having some FUN? Need a Fun Friday activity as your students lose their engagement through the week? Need an activity with very little prep? Looking for something digital? Then look no further!
Mystery At The Theme Park is a video based Escape Room activity that is played with a YouTube Video (approximately 20 minutes) and answers are submitted on a Google Form. Students will have to watch the video, listen to the story, and look at pictures to find clues to escape from the Theme Park in time. There are many different ways that you could play this game whether it is as a full class and you try to beat the clock, or in small groups where students can work together to solve the puzzles! The links are in the PDF that you will get when you download this resources and all instructions to set up will be there.
The Prep to play this Escape Room is minimal-all you need is the video link and a copy of the Google Form for each group. I played this game with my Grade 6/7 class online and they LOVED it. I had students who were usually pretty quiet online take over and shine!
