During the COVID pandemic, students across the world transitioned to online learning. Online learning has been a difficult experience for them, and this struggle has affected them in many ways – academically, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Switching from traditional classroom and face to face learning to computer-based learning in a virtual classroom makes the learning experience entirely different for students. This highly relevant resource features 40 Remote Learning Challenges Scenarios that students (and teachers) experience on a daily basis since the transition to online learning! The scenarios can be used to increase students’ awareness of the challenges they’re facing and confront them appropriately.

Painting Art: Watercolor Boat Reflections.
By Art Shack by JB
This creative Watercolor Boat Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to brainstorm a boat/vessel that they wanted to have in the water, and water kind of body of water they wanted in their artwork. We discussed Winslow Homer, and his style of art. Students sketched their drawing and painted the larger areas first. Students painted the boat, smaller details and reflections last. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

By Ms. J's ELA
This resource is a simple template for an apology letter. While working with middle school students, I heard a lot of snarky comments being spewed without much forethought. I started having students write apology letters when those comments came out. The template is designed to help students think about their intentions, how they likely made the other person feel, and what they will do differently in the future.
