Comparing Systems of Linear Equations: Grade 8 Math

This presentation includes 10 questions (23 slides total) that has students work in groups to determine which statement is true between two given systems of equations. Which system has no solution? Which system has infinitely many solutions? Which system is better suited for the elimination method? This No Prep Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level.
