This package includes 6 interactive activities that use QR codes to access the necessary internet material. In this package you will find links to: * videos describing area and perimeter * real-life applications and uses * area of irregular * looks at rectangles, triangles and (semi)circles Both standard and metric units of measurement are used. This creative Bird’s Eye View Perspective Unit: 3D Forms OR City Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to choose a Perspective artwork to complete: the 3D Forms artwork OR the City Scene artwork. Students used a ruler for most of this assignment and learned perspective drawing. Students worked with value or details in their artworks. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

The goal for this project is for your child/students to practice using area and perimeter. They will also practice spatial awareness as they plan for elements to fit within the area provided. The different areas they will place on their maps are based on the realms represented in the Nutcracker Ballet (when visiting after Marie/Clara rescues the Nutcracker/Prince)

The Median can be a difficult concept for students to master. A relevant approach to teaching the statistical value of the Median is to have students determine the High and Low temperatures of the weather for a week. With this no-prep, digital math-based escape room activity, your students will have a great time finding circumference, area, and radius given one circle measurement in order to find the solution to a mystery.

There are 20 problems:

Based on the premise that Pi has lost its digits, your students will explore five different locations full of activities, jokes and fun facts. 

Since this escape room is online (interactive pages) there is very little prep: provide the link, and off they go! There are no locks to configure or clues to hide—everything you need is online. No Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams logins are necessary. 

A printable version of the problems is also included.

Area and Circumference of Circles Activity | Google Slides Compatible is the perfect resource to help your students MASTER finding the area and circumference of a circle! I would use this resource to help my students practice finding the area and circumference of a circle after this type of lesson in the classroom.
