Help
By Erin Cusumano
This worksheet challenges students to use perspective taking skills and answer questions about someone they care about. Students are prompted to answer about the feelings/preferences of someone they know, the thoughts behind why they feel that way, and to look for something in common (thoughts, experiences, motivations) between themselves and this person.
This worksheet aims to give students a chance to practice "stepping in to someone else's shoes" and extending their understanding of that persons experience.

Resilience Activities Classroom Guidance Lesson
By A Plus Education
This resilience resource can help your students develop skills and strategies to adapt to difficult circumstances and maintain their emotional and mental well-being. It focuses on helping the students to build strengths to help them cope with difficulties and challenges in school and thrive in adversity.
Our students' life at school can be challenging and lead to disengagement and lack of concentration and focus.
Creating a positive environment for our students in school could help them build their resiliency to help them cope withand manage the difficulties they encounter. We believe building a positive environment will make our students feel supported, more engaged, more connected to their teachers and classmates, and achieve better academic results.
One of the strengths we want to develop and enhance is resilience.
**Resilience **is the ability to bounce back from difficulties and not let failure overcome and drain your resolve but find a way to rise again. By helping our students boost their resiliency, they experience more positive emotions than negative emotions, are less depressive, have greater resistance to stress, and it also boosts their immune system which leads to good health.
Our resilience lesson includes:
What is resilience and what is not resilience
Keeping positive
Goal-setting
Feelings activity
Problem Solving
Character Strengths
Stress Management

By Perfectly Planned Designs
Looking for an engaging Christmas activity for characterization and character analysis? Students have stumbled upon an iPhone that belongs to either Santa or the Grinch! This printable iPhone Character Analysis activity is perfect for your Upper Elementary Middle School or High School classroom! Perfect for early finishers too!
It is a great no-prep resource that you can use during the holiday season for a fun, engaging activity that your students will LOVE! The engaging design of this cell phone activity will ask students to "snoop" through a phone they found, peep their text messages, playlists and even check their most recent location history. Students are to design the homescreen on the phone based on whether it is Santa's or the Grinch's phone. For example, they might draw a scene from Santa's workshop and include the weather for the North Pole, etc.
