This is a simple but complete early geometry booklet on shape movement (Roll, Slide, and Stack). Kids will have the opportunity to identify 3D objects, their attributes, and real life objects. There is also an opportunity to use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast different 3D shapes according to the ability of rolling, sliding, and stacking.

This assessment can be used as a pre/post test for the Geometry and Measurement & Data standard in 3rd grade math. This comprehensive assessment focuses specifically on quadrilaterals. Students will be able to identify parallelograms, square, rectangles, rhombuses, and trapezoids. They will also be able to look at different shapes and figure out their area or perimeter given side lengths or a diagram.

Introduction to Pythagoras' Theorem activities

Level Ups are a fun way for your students to practice or review 8th grade angle relationships in triangles and parallel lines cut by a transversal. Aligned to the common core standards, this Level Ups activity includes 5 differentiated tasks that increase in rigor, covering:

• Triangle Angle Sum Theorem
• Alternate interior angles
• Alternate exterior angles
• Corresponding angles
• Same side interior angles
• Same side exterior angles
• Exterior angles of a triangle

The task cards begin with pre-requisite skills of measuring & naming angles, and working with complementary, supplementary, and vertically opposite angles, then "level up" all the way to finding multiple unknown angles in a large diagram involving parallel lines.
