Scattegories is a fun and challenging board game that tests your creativity and quick thinking. I have recreated a classroom version for SPANISH LEARNERS called: ¡PÁREME LA MANO! also called in other countries, TUTTI FRUTI o PARA EL FUEGO. This is a fun game we used to play in school growing up in South America. I have tried in my own classroom and kids LOVE IT! This is such a great game to practice vocabulary and parts of the speech.

This product contains two versions of this game. One for individual play and one for a group game. There are a set of rules for both games but these are just suggested rules as you can set your own depending of the group of kids you teach. Kids will only need a dice, a white board marker and a wiper.

Learning new vocabulary doesn't have to be a dry and boring task! This engaging "Donut Delight" activity sheet transforms vocabulary exploration into a fun and interactive experience for your students.

Differentiated task cards to practice agreeing and disagreeing (So do I. / Neither do I. / I do. / I don't.) Practice using different tenses and modal verbs. Use them to play Kaboom Game or Scoot, they are great for Centers, Quiz Games, can be used as Bell Ringers. Low prep, just print out and cut up.

Contains:

• 45 task cards - they double up as Kaboom! sentence cards and Scoot cards
• 15 Kaboom! cards
• 3 answer sheets for Scoot

• instructions

INSTRUCTIONS:

Kaboom! Game

• print out and cut up the numbered sentence cards and Kaboom! cards, laminate (optional)
• put them in a receptacle of your choice
• decide on how long you want to spend on this activity and set a timer
• pupils take turns pulling out a card and finishing the sentence - they need to select the correct option or make a sentence using cues
• if they say it right, they get to keep the card
• if they get it wrong, they put it back
• the next pupil takes a turn
• if they pull out a Kaboom! card, they put all their cards back, feel free to use as many (or as few) Kaboom! card as you wish
• pupil with the most cards at the end wins

Scoot Game

• use the numbered sentence cards, each student gets a recording sheet
• place one card on each student's desk. If you have fewer students than cards, feel free to not use the whole deck.
• plan a route, make sure your students understand which way they are supposed to move
• start the game by having each pupil write the answer to their card on their answer sheet
• when students are finished, call out "SCOOT" and they move to their neighbour's desk where they write the answer to the card on that desk
• call out "SCOOT" again, students move again, continue until students have answered all the cards
• answer sheets can be corrected with the whole group, in pairs or collected for a later correction

Sentence Domino

• print out and cut up, laminate (optional)
• to be used in pairs or small groups - print out a few copies
• pupils look for pairs - a statement with the corresponding agreeing or disagreeing response - which they place next to each other creating a line of matching cards

Do your students have trouble determining when to use "I" or "Me"? This easy-to-follow PowerPoint includes: Simplified Rules for Using"I" and "Me" Easy to follow Examples Peer Workshopping Activity This to-the-point presentation is for individual, small, or whole group introduction and review.. Make learning to use "I' or "Me" easy!

This is a set of FANBOYS anchor charts. The donwload has different versions of the (fanboys) chart including B&W and colorful version. These type of posters can be hand on the bulletin board or as part of a handout.

The other type is for the door or wall decor. a single page for each conjuction accompanied with another for the defenition/explanation.

These are fake Instagram posts that have pictures of activities. One post shows the activity happening in the present and the other post shows the activity either finished or happening in the past. The teacher will need to cut out the Instagram posts and the text boxes. Then the students will need to place the descriptions (inside the text boxes) with the correct Instagram post. The majority of the practice with this activity is focused on past tense, but there is also present and future tense.

**An extension for the activity is to have the students underline and identify the verb that shows the tense of the sentence.**

This can be used for multiple grade levels and would be a great support activity for upper elementary and middle school students who need practice with verb tenses (especially past tense).
