$5 - $10 Music Activities (by price, low to high)

Felt-boards (or flannel boards) are a fabulous method of sharing music and rhythm with children by using visual props along with songs. My collection of songs and poems will help you to use your felt-board to its fullest potential. This set includes 30 songs and poems that are appropriate for preschool and kindergarten, and are perfect for circle time, group time or music class. I have included lots of old favorites, but some are new and fun songs and fingerplays that will enhance your curriculum.

The set includes more than a hundred adorable graphics which have recently been updated. All you have to do is print out the set and cut out the graphics. (You can laminate the images and attach felt or Velcro to the back if you want to use them on a flannel board or felt board.) Words to each song or poem are included and can be printed and glued onto 3x5 inch index cards.

Kids love songs! Use these original rhyming songs/poems to sing and move as you learn about color words. Students will learn to spell color words and focus on easy to read, decodable CVC words as they locate and circle the color word for the day.

Wanna get your Orff Ensemble moving and grooving but don't know where to start? Get percussive with five original compositions for your Orff Ensemble.

This Orff Ensemble orchestration provides parts for Soprano Glockenspiel, Soprano Xylophone, Alto Xylophone, Bass Xylophone, Percussion, and Boomwhackers with color coded notes. The goal of the game is for players to move from one endzone on the board to the other! You can play this game with up to 6 players in your classes or lessons.

Leaves are Falling is a peaceful, mystic piano solo in the D Minor 5-Finger position to get students in the autumn mood. This piece is a great way to work on the D Minor position and a good way to introduce echoing or call and response to your students as well. 

The song is written to stay in a Piano dynamic throughout, but you are welcome to add in different dynamics as well. Additionally, the song is written to be played Con Pedal to provide a longing effect to really sound like or give the feeling of falling leaves. 

There are four versions of the song you can use with students:

1. Version 1 with regular note heads and no key signature.
2. Version 2 with note names in the note heads and no key signature.
3. Version 3 with regular note heads in D Minor key signature.
4. Version 4 with note names in the note heads in D Minor key signature.

This piano solo is part of our Multi-Version Songs series.

What is a Multi-Version Song? These are songs we have created that have different versions of the same song in the same file so you have some flexibility with your students who are at different learning stages! This allows you to provide these songs to students no matter what level they're at!

This means that the song will come with and without letters in the noteheads, and if the song is in a key signature other than C Major or A Minor, the song will also have versions in the given key signature and version with no key signature and the necessary accidentals. Most of our Multi-Version Songs have at least two to four versions in the file.

Brighten up your students' learning of the keyboard with our Keyboard Sun flash card set!

This set of Keyboard Sun Flashcards is a great way to get your students into the winter spirit by having them review the keys on their keyboard.

In total, there are 52 cards in the complete set! The beginning of the document features 4 different keys per page with all 12 keys in both flat and sharp names. Also included are pages that have the same key so you can make multiple sets of the flashcards. But that's not all...there is also a whole set that is ink friendly so you can print on either white cardstock or any color you'd like!

One side of the card features a yellow sun with a three or four-white key keyboard image. The other side features the outline of the sun and the name of the key.

Assembly is easy! You just need to print double-sided, cut and go! You are more than welcome to print in color, or black and white to save on ink.

The Ferris Wheel is a short piano solo for the late beginner which is set in 3/4 time signature in G Major. Students will place their hands in a G 5-Finger position to play the song. In the left hand part at measure 9, students will need to extend their pinky to play two F#’s, but everything else is in the G 5-Finger position. 

Depending on where your student is at level-wise, we’ve included four different versions of the song that you can use:

1. Version 1 with note names written on the note heads and accidentals written next to each note.
2. Version 2 with note names written on the note heads and accidentals in the key signature only.
3. Version 3 with normal note heads and accidentals written next to notes.
4. Version 4 with normal note heads and accidentals in the key signature only.

The Coconut Dance is a groovy piano solo for the late beginner in the C Major position. The song is a ternary form, so once the students learn the first 8 measures of the song, they can play the last 8 measures of the song. 

The lyrics of the song in the B section starting at measure 9 are instructions for a dance. To be frank, I made up these lyrics and it would be fun for you and your kiddos to try it out just to see how it goes! 

There are two versions of the song you can use with students:

1. Version 1 with regular note heads. 
2. Version 2 with note names in the note heads.
