This no prep activity is perfect for small groups or centers. You can also use one card per page version to project and make it a whole class activity. These speaking cards are perfect for primary English. You can easily use these cards as a review with ESL students at any level also.

Included: 100 speaking prompt cards

There are many ways you can use this set of 100 speaking cards:

➤ Print, laminate, cut out, punch holes & attach on a ring for small groups to ask and answer questions.

➤ Use as a warm-up speaking activity with a conversation buddy. As students enter the classroom have them choose 2-3 cards from a box.

➤ Students who finish their work earlier than others can choose a few of the cards and write out their answers.

➤ Use as exit tickets. Give each student a card before the end of class and as they walk out of the room they tell the teacher their answer.

➤ Stations: Put students into groups and divide the cards amongst them. Have groups rotate to a new station as they finish the cards.

➤ Scoot: Put one card on each desk in the classroom. Give each student a response sheet and set a timer to give them just enough time to answer the question. When the timer rings students move on to the next desk and the next question.

Deaf Education - ASL and English Prepositions Vocabulary and Sentence Review

In this product, students will learn the sign and English vocabulary word for the 44 different prepositions presented.

This product can be used with students who are learning English and/or sign language. It can serve as an in class practice, review, or quiz.

In the first section of the product, students will learn the English word, the sign of each preposition, and the preposition is used in a sentence. Students will be able to write the name of each preposition in their native language.

In the second section of the product, there is a dictionary provided that includes the English word, the sign, and a picture showing each preposition.

In the third section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign, sentence, and picture that are included for each preposition provided. Students will then be required to write the vocabulary word in English. At the end of this section, students are provided with two sentences using prepositions and without prepositions to show why prepositions are needed in English sentences. Students will then be provided with 10 sentences and a key. They will be required to fill in the missing preposition that goes with each sentence. Students will then be able to make up a sentence based on 11 prepositions that they choose.

In the fourth section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to make up a sentence using each preposition presented in English.

In the fifth section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to make up a sentence using each preposition presented in their native language.
