Save lots of money while shopping using coupons. This colorful, cheerful binder organizes your coupons and makes it easier for you to find just the right coupon you are looking for while out shopping. Teach your students or children in your household the value of saving money by saving coupons. Create your own coupon binder by using baseball card holders that you can find at many dollar stores or office supply stores. You can either use a two inch or three inch binder to set it up and place all your dividers in. There are two coupon sorting sheets available. Rather than flipping through the pages in your binder to insert coupons which can take a lot of time, you can use the coupon sorting mats. Once the coupons are all sorted, you can then place them in your binder. Children of all ages can help with sorting the coupons. Many kids can also help out with gathering coupons and cutting them out. Have your students write about ways they can help their family save money. There are a couple of writing prompts that you could use to have your students share ways that they can help their families save money. This does not necessarily mean just using coupons. It could mean saving money by turning off the lights when not in use, not taking long showers, or turning in cans for redemption. Some kids might write about a job they do such as a paper route, mowing the grass or shoveling snow. When a new student comes to class there are several things that take priority to everything else. I made this document after enrolling several new students this year. It has simplified my life tremendously by having a guide to go by when speaking with parents of new students. It also helps tremendously to fill out one of these on each student at the beginning of the year so that paras and teachers have a quick guide to go by per student.

Critical thinking activity for small/whole that motivates students to take charge of their learning process. Encourages students to discuss their classroom learning successes as well as disasters. Activity will have students discussing learning processes and study skills. Student scenarios given and guided questions with handout chart included.

This product focuses on the following areas: This product provides students with information regarding stress. Students will complete a stress test and reflect on what may cause them stress. Fight/flight/freeze response is also reviewed in this product and how it relates with stress. Once students have taken the stress test, they will analyze their results. Students will work in groups and complete the packet regarding the effects of stress. Students will answer questions such as how they felt when they were feeling stressed, etc. Students will review the effects of stress charts provided that include what happens when the body is in fight or flight compared to when it is relaxed. Students will also learn about the emotional, physical, and mental effects of stress and see how they differ from one another. Students will learn what stress and stressors are when they discuss coping with stress. Healthy and unhealthy strategies to cope with stress are included in this product. Students will take time to reflect on a time when they were stressed or if they were stressed and answer questions regarding making healthy or unhealthy choices to cope with stress.

Throughout this product, students will answer comprehension questions and will also be presented with social scenarios that they may encounter where they are asked how they would feel or what they would do. An attitude survey regarding mental health that contains 10 questions is also included in this product. Students will compare their results when they are finished and will go over the correct answers.

Scheduling students and staff members can be difficult in a self-contained classroom. This editable schedule allows for you to customize your daily activities so that you can look at a glance and know where everyone of your staff and students should be. This really helps classroom staff as well as administrators know where to find teachers, paras, and students.

In this product, students will be provided with a list of positive words and will choose 10 positive words that describe themselves. Students will then narrow that list of 10 positive words down to 3. They will explain why that word describes them. Students will answer questions about themselves - Example: What is your favorite color? What is your favorite hobby? etc., Students will then describe themselves - what color eyes they have, what color their hair is, what their favorite thing about themselves is, what is something they want to improve on, etc. Students will draw a picture of themselves, and complete the activity of choosing a mirror, printing it out and putting a picture of themselves in the mirror and can share what they like about themselves. This product can be used independently or when students are working in a group. Students can keep their responses private or can share them with their peers.

1. Catch the Compliment: In this game, students write compliments about each other on small pieces of paper. The teacher collects the compliments and reads them aloud. The student who is being complimented gets to catch a small toy or ball.
2. High Five Challenge: This game challenges students to reach a certain goal, such as completing a certain number of math problems. When they achieve the goal, they get a high five from the teacher or another student.
3. Treasure Box: Create a treasure box filled with small toys, stickers, and other fun items. When students do something positive, they get to choose a prize from the treasure box.
4. Class Compliments: Set a goal for the class, such as being respectful to each other or completing assignments on time. When the class achieves the goal, they get a compliment from the teacher and a reward, such as extra recess time.
5. Team Points: Divide the class into teams and award points for positive behavior. The team with the most points at the end of the week gets a reward, such as a pizza party or movie day.
