Matching Clothes to the Weather

By SEN Resource Source

Cut and stick worksheet in which children can think carefully about what clothes are appropriate for different types of weather.

Why do you need this?

This activity encourages children to consider weather conditions and how they affect clothing choices. By engaging in the task, students develop an understanding of the importance of dressing appropriately for various weather conditions.

Teaching children about weather-appropriate clothing fosters practical life skills and promotes independence. By learning to choose suitable attire for different weather conditions, students develop self-care skills and prepare themselves for daily activities both at school and in their daily lives.

How and when might you use this?

Teachers can integrate the activity book into a weather-themed unit or lesson. Teachers can then provide the Cut and Stick activity for children to apply their understanding by selecting appropriate clothing for each weather type.

Coins Interactive Notebook & PowerPoint Identify, Count & Compare Money!)

By Until the Pieces Fit

Are your students having difficulty learning and identifying coins and their values? Mine were, so I worked to develop this interactive notebook and PowerPoint slides & I am thrilled with their progress!

Most pages require students to make interactive activities with simple cuts & paste directions. The notebook features practice in the following areas for identification and use of the penny, nickel, dime and quarter:

•Sorting – Color and sort coins into a jar
